Environmental Studies Students discuss climate crisis on KKFI
KU Environmental Studies students Madisen K. Hane, Eleanor Read Walsh, Hannah Nuest, and Sloan M. Sprau chose to fulfill their Capstone by creating their own show broadcast on KKFI's EcoRadio KC.
Given the crisis that happened in Texas during the record-breaking cold temperatures in early 2021, the students discussed some of the current problems with our electricity grid, why this kind of crisis is likely to happen more and more due to climate change, and how we can make our electricity grids and the communities that rely on them more resilient.
