Take a solstice garden tour with the KU community

Join KU faculty, staff and students for our informal garden tour, led by Kelly Kindscher, Kansas Biological Survey & Center for Ecological Research scientist and professor in the KU Environmental Studies Program. We will explore the garden and see the work of the Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners, who partner with our research center to manage the garden. We also will discuss the new native planting in the center of the demonstration garden. We’ll tour all areas of the garden, including the dye garden and the KU Community Garden. The garden, which is part of the KU Field Station, is open every day, dawn to dusk. It is next to Prairie Moon Waldorf School just north of Highway 24/40.
